Hello,
I have a male beardie, about 7 - 8 months old I believe. Recently his behavior has almost completely changed. He used to love being handled and spending time with me. Now he has seemingly zero interest in being handled or coming out of his vivarium at all. The only time I can bring him out without any kind of trouble is at night when he's tired and wants to cuddle.
Everything else is normal. I haven't changed anything about his light schedule, diet, or vivarium. He's eating, his bowel movements are normal, he's active inside his vivarium. He doesn't appear to be ill and he's not aggressive, except for an occasional hiss.
Is this normal behavior for a beardie his age? Is he just being a moody teenager?
