Mom MUST really HATE me or Howlin' Rex's first Tub Bath

Mom must hate me you know. :evil:

She gave me big crickets and made me work for them. :shock:

She tried to catch and towel me and didn’t get it when I opened my mouth as far as it would go and showed her all my ferocious teeth and tonsils. You know tonsils are scary right? :twisted:

Then came the horrid bath IN THE TUB
Then she thought she’d be clever and that putting her hand in the tub as a raft would get me to swim to her… well I did… darn it…I fell for it.
HA I pooed then and she calmly rinsed it down the drain and told me I was a GOOD BOY! Can you imagine? So I stay on her hand because it is the safest place and I put up with her patting…my eyes closed of their own volition. It was not my fault.

Then she wrapped me in a towel and I tried to bite her and got a face full of towel!
Biting towels stinks… evil mom…she put it there so I wouldn’t get her.
So she puts me back in my tank on my rock and then puts the light over me and says ‘Bask’. :mrgreen:

I WAS basking!
So now, I am clean pooed out and back where I was. SO now I ask you did we HAVE to do that? :shock:

Fellow Beardies-

Yes, mommies can be very annoying when they wake us up and only give us only 10 mealworms instead of 20, and look under our tails (grr) and everything else, but they are also our slaves. And what would we do without our slaves?

Anyways, I don't see why you guys hate baths so much. I love my baths. And my salads.

OK gang listen up it went like this. I lasted about 5 days before she comes with the bath thing again so this time I play it cool and nice I give her a

And she tells me I'm good. So here comes the cloth so I jump for her arm and got it and crawled up away from the cloth and you know what? 8) I don't get bundled she just takes me into the dum dum dum bathroom. :shock:

So I figure here we go again and yep she life rafts me into the bath so I swim right back to her hand and she pushed me out and I swim right to her hand and then she starts with the whole laughing thing. :lol:

And I find I'm going it too. The comes the fun part she shoves me into the deep water so I duck down and use my tail like a propeller and head all the way to the other end and her expression is :shock: :? :shock:

Now it was my turn to laugh as I came up for air. 8)

We do this game four more times and her response is every time.

So I get the ah ha thing going but then I got hit with the poo thing again. This time it was worse than before so she had to drain the entire tub down. I'm getting bigger so my Poos do to. Somehow she is thrilled by this. :study: I have to look up this in my Book on Moms as to why I get this behavior.

So she refills the tub but by now I'm pretty beat so I soak up the now clean heat and water. :silent:

And here comes the towel again so I jump for her and she lays it over my back dabs he water off and does NOT go for the beardie burrito she talks about. She actually trusted me to stay in the open. So I'm on my bestest behavior. :mrgreen:

And I got to snuggle at the computer with Mom. You know I may hate baths but the whole swimming thing is fun after all and pleasing Moms mean the squeak in a pleasant manner you get fed these green worms with the horns on them and you get to spend time out.

Let the Mom exhaust you then think your a really great guy. Let them take the time with you. Let them feel like your coming around to them. Make them happy and get fed some of the yummiest things in the world.

Trust me It's worth it. :twisted:

I just get mealworms and crickets. That's it. No horn worms. I don't get baths either, yet, but I have my own personal mini bathtub that mom lets me play around in. Can't wait for tub baths! I love the water.
