mixing dubias & their food

is it okay to mix babies and adults? cos i hear some breeders separate them, why do they do this? i basically have all my dubias (very small - adult) in 1 big container. is this ok?

next question is: do i have to change the fruits/veggies i give them everyday? i noticed that the cereals i place inside the container gets eaten up in one night. the fruits (specifically the orange) will be eaten up 50% then will just be sitting there for days. should i change the food everyday? and do i have to put water every day as well?

yes, it's definitely ok. in fact, the babies thrive better with adults since the babies feed on the adults' waste. the brreders mainly separate them so they have an easier time when it comes to boxing them up and shipping them out.

You should take the fresh vegetables out every couple days, if mold sets in, it can wipe out your whole colony.

Yeah. I make sure that when I can see molds on the fruits, I would throw them out right away and replace them with new ones.
