We got Mr. Lizard from Petsmart December 1st 2012 and he was 5''
He is now 6'' as of January 4 2013
He likes to spend most of his time in his camo hamock soaking up some rays. :D

This is the first day we got him.

Some of it could be due to the fact that some of the crickets are smaller then the 3/8 I ordered. On average its 100 or just under 100 a day but she will do that for a few days then eat 60 one day so I think maybe she is going through frequent growth spurts.

She has always loved resting right up against the glass. She has grown so much that now her head is missing behind the lamp when I walk into the room.
She is going through a partial shed again of the feet and face. I moved up on cricket size and now she doesnt eat nearly as much. Usually 25-30 two times a day. I also noticed she is eating more of her greens.

We had to change up her cage now that she is past the 13'' mark. We got a larger hammock and made a much bigger sand box and got rid of the wood since she stopped using it.
She spends most of the day laying and digging in the sand box then after dinner usually goes on the hammock. She still insists on pooping in her food dish every morning. Even when I take it out she poops in that same spot HA!
The sand box is a small Pampers Cruisers diaper box cut about 1 1/2'' from the bottom. Then we lined the bottom with duct tape then placed a piece of shelf liner in there.
Im going to need to get a smaller food dish because this one is just too big. She still uses her water dish every morning so I have kept that in there too. :D

Is she in a 20g? If so, she is probably more than ready for a 40g and Petco is having their sale on them

Still feeding vitamines 3 times a week.
Eating 25-30 3/4'' crickets two times a day
She still will only eat mustard greens and not touch anything else. I am making her some butternut squash today to see how that goes.

Here is my other baby he is an Akita and just turned 2!!

Hi miss lizard! It was really fun watching you grow from teeny tiny baby to a big chubby girl.
Your dog is very handsome too.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
