Miss Lizard AKA Mr Lizard

We got Mr. Lizard from Petsmart December 1st 2012 and he was 5''
He is now 6'' as of January 4 2013
He likes to spend most of his time in his camo hamock soaking up some rays.

This is the first day we got him.

Mr Lizard is adorable! He will get used to you, just keep at it. You could put something in his home that you've worn so he can smell your scent and will realize that you won't hurt him. I'm glad he's growing and eating more crickets at a time.

Measured him this morning and he is 8'' as of 2/8/2013 and he completed a fast shed last week.

We have been spending $60+ a month on crickets so I decided it was time to build the cricket house and order them online. Shipment came in yesterday and out of 1,000 only 4 died! Its so nice to have crickets in bulk for CHEAP and not have to go to the pet store once or twice a week.
I got him the 3/8 and he ate 29 for breakfast

As of 2/22/2013 he is just shy of the 9 1/2'' mark!!! It amazes me how much they can explode in growth on week and slow down another.
He is eating 55-60+ crickets a day
FINALLY we have reached that point where I can reach my hand in and pick him up with just a slight struggle unlike the past when he would flip out and run from me. I think he is finally starting to come around. I still have to hold him to my chest and cover him a little or he will try and do a super man so the 'out of the cage experience' is for maybe 1-2 minutes a day or every other day. Im taking it slow because I dont want to rush him and so far it seems to be working!
His toes are orange from his sand box but his belly and tail is not so I am unsure as to why....

Completed his shed a couple days ago and he is so feisty! He runs when the cage is opened and he was digging in his sand box this morning which i a first. :? He is also only eating about 18-20 crickets rather then his usual 30 each feeding.
Yesterday I picked him up again without him jumping or moving. I am so so happy that he finally has calmed down and lets me pick him up

10'' mark!!!! 2/27/2013
Gave him a bath this morning and he held my finger so tight! He has become so lovey in the past week I cant believe it! He now likes to snuggle with my hand slightly covering him on my shirt. I am a firm believer when everyone said he would eventually calm down
