Mild MBD, possible tail rot?

I just adopted this guy, Soul Patch, on Sunday. After closer examination, it seems to me he has/had MBD, and I'm a little concerned about his tail. He'll be going to the vet soon, but unfortunately the only exotics vet in an hour's drive is only here once a week or so. So, until then, I want to make sure I'm doing all I can to correct the issue(s).

From my observation, I can see a slight underbite, a curvy tail with a somewhat darkened end, and a possible arm tremor (only saw it once, and it could have just been him trying to get a grip on the smooth metal of my Macbook).









I'm getting a new UVB bulb and calcium spray tomorrow morning. Anything else on the list? Can you confirm or deny my suspicion of tail rot?

Hi. His a nice looking fellow . His tail looks fine. As for mbd it looks very mild. I would not use calcium spray as you need to dust his feeders. I'd dust 4 to 5x a week even tho at his age it should be 3x, but with his mild mbd I'd up it for a while any way. What kind of uvb light are you going to get?

Just placed an order for phoenix worms, until they arrive he'll get dusted crix. I bought a reptisun 10.0 uvb tube light (not a curly/compact one) and I try to take him outside for at least 20 min every day to get some real sun.
