Midnight snack?

I have three rescue dragons, two male and a female, ranging from middle to old age, but all now healthy. I have noticed that they all have the habit of leaving two crickets when they are fed. It does not seem to matter if they are fed a lot or a little or if they are "starving" or just hungry. It's like they have to save some for latter. Is this a normal beardie thing?

Hello don't leave crickets in tanks overnight. They will bite your beardies. Only feed as many crickets as your beardies will eat.

Good advice! I don't leave crickets in their enclosures overnight or even very long after offering them. It just seems that no matter how hungry they are or how many have been offered, they still leave two. It is just a curious thing that I wondered if it was a beardie thing.
