I took a standard size mesh hammock and cut the zebra fabric and put a quilt batting lining in it, sewed it all together and put the corner grommets in..then made the matching blankie and pillow. These were Geico's till I got Em then they went to her. Geico has yellow dragons on a red background and curtains to match..I have zebra curtains for Ems set...All together I made 7 sets of the hammock, blankie and pillows. Both love them. RIght now Em is on her log arm waving at me lol. Thank you for the compliments on the zebra set.

Thank you but right now he/she is to young to sex. Im hoping its a boy so no eggs to worry about but either way Em will be loved. Em is for either Emily or Emmett..so Em is a good generic of both names lol.

I didn't know what sex my Nim was when I got him. I just hoped I got a male so I wouldn't have to worry about eggs too. And I got lucky and have a little boy! And checked there today, oh boy, is he maturing. LOL, if you know what I mean. :wink:

Ok, so I wrote to sandfire dragons and sent them a picture of my baby Em..I am going to put my email and their reply to my inquiry.

I am inquiring about my baby dragon. I bought a dragon baby from Petsmart in Colorado this past weekend. I dont know the sex as its to young for me to tell. I am wondering if you can tell me what type of dragon I have. He/she is beautiful in both texture of the scales and her coloration. It's almost a chocolate brown with creamy stripes and a coral red/orange coloration down her back and sides. I am including a picture and If you can tell me if its a leatherback or what, I would greatly appreciate it.

If I had to guess I would say that it is probably one of our red/gold dragons.
It is a little hard for me to tell from the picture, but it does look to me like your dragon is a leatherback.

So it looks like I have a red/gold leatherback.

Cool. She doesn't look like a leatherback from the pictures. But maybe I'm wrong. I took a peek at their website since I got my Nim from PetSmart and heard that that is where they get their dragons. I looked at the pictures of their dragons and I think my Nim is a Blood Red X Tiger. My best guess so far! Your baby dragon is still very beautiful.

I sent them a closeup of him/her and thats what they said about it..shes a red/gold leatherback...the scales are so very soft and very few spikes but then she is a baby...we will see but she is a red/gold. Em is like touching velvet or a very fine microsuede.

She doesn't look like a leatherback to me from the 2 clear pictures. In the blurry pictures, she looks like a leatherback, but that could be because the pictures are blurry.

Doesnt matter to me really, I really wanted to know what coloring Em was. Love Em no matter what..I was just curious so wrote to them to find out a little about Em. I know a lot of my pictures are not the sharpest of focus..I shake a lot from my lupus but do the best I can with pictures.

I always check on my beardies before I head to bed...Geico is still bundled up sleeping in his hammock on his pillow...I put Em in a burrito, put Em in his/her hammock and on his/her pillow..silly little baby is sleeping on her froggie lol...got out of bed and crawled up on the stuffie and fell asleep. Id take a pic but dont want to wake Em up, Em needs her sleep!
