meet my new baby Elyott

hii! my name is Bryanna. i've been on here for about a week. i just got my new baby beardie today. my first one! she is about 5 inches long and 4 weeks old. it was a horrible 7 hours... no one really liked it. but i got this beautiful little girl (at least i hope its a girl)

Rouge used to poo on everything from me to the couch. Now she's bath trained. She won't go anywhere else.

Mine are bath trained, too, as long as I keep to their schedule, baths at 9a sharp for Gabriel & Lonzo, 20 min later for Didi and Leo. Luckily I wake them up at 8a every morning, baths an hour later. If I don't do that, I'll have messes to clean up!

Elyott normally will only poop in his tank or bath but this is shedding time so its different. Grumpy so he poops everywhere. I just bought pocket warmers for the big move and somes at night. I was hoping the snow would hold off till after the move but nope. So everyone gets to say hello to the snow. Poor Zen, and Elyott.

Yeah. Thursday is our first night there. We would be there now but our new land lords forgot we were moving in this weekend and there is no stove, no nothing in the kitchen and pur rooms aren't finnished! Grrrrrr people annoy me. Well Elyott is passed out on my lap while i watch "my sisters keeper" i read the book but i really wanted to see the movie

So i got no sleep last night. Normally Elyott just sleeps beside me and we're good. When your sleeping on the couch because we don't have beds up yet there is not much room for him to sleep beside me. So he slept curled up with me all night. But either i had to move from side to side or he would have a dream where he would be swimming (so he was shaking his head) or he was climbing (my face) or he moved because i woke him up. I passed him off to my boyfriend who was on the other couch at about 5:00 AM but then mom came out and turned on lights and is like "pkay time to stry unpacking and stuff before school!" And i'm like "hissssssssssssss....." So that was my night... And i wish i could have just left Elyott in his enclosure but he will not sleep in there... I tired.

Elyott likes corn! lol i ran out of worms last night and they came in this morning but he has corn for breakfast before i got the worms.

i hope everyone is having an amazing christmas. so just before christmas i found a 4 year old beardie who was in the worst of shape and so my boyfriend picked her up for me and now i am home with Sunny my little rescue. Elyott was not impressed to see me not taking him out when he wanted because she was out. (possible parasites) so Elyott is now a little brother.

Also i hate petstores and am going to avoid them for a long time because i went into one looking for liquid calcium and a few other things and i had to ask where the liquid calcium was and i told him i had taken on a rescue and he started trying to sell me sit like bulbs and i got very annoyed.

Hey Bryanna & welcome to your new girl, it's always terrible when someone doesn't care for their beardie but you'll get her back into good health. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Looks like she doesn't have MBD, so that's a good thing, just needs to fatten up & get healthier, she sure is pretty. Yes, Elyott will have his nose out of joint for awhile. I take it you're going to get a fecal done for her, to get her on meds if she has parasites, which she probably does, being so skinny.

Yes, I had a great Christmas day, my sister gave us all seats to Cirque du Soleil who are in Vancouver, all front row seats & for 1p on Jan 6. So looking forward to this, a friend has seen the show and said it's amazing. So yes, we were all spoiled. I spent most of the day at my nephews, went over in the morning, then back in the evening with my whole family for Xmas dinner. Then I stayed over for the night, which was great, as we were all up until after midnight.

So glad you also had a great Christmas, too, hope your New Year is great, too. I checked out her thread, will read it a bit later, making cookies for work tomorrow.

Yum! Cookies! Yes a fecal is going to get done but the vets is not open for a few days and my vet is gone till the 3rd which is when her vet appointment is. She is a very pretty. She's been living off of freeze dried worms and pelets all her life and wild bugs when the kid caught them. Also she was on sand and yeah.
OMG! Cirque du Soleil! That is amazing! I so want to see that. Last year i got to see Lion King the musical in the forth row center and it was amazing. That is going to be so amazing!

Are you going to update on the Introductions thread or here? I'll check out the intro thread tomorrow. Cookies are all made (no bake, 3 ingredients, they're like little chocolate bars) and I made 73, so that should be good for tomorrow.

It'll be good to get her to the vet, I can't believe that parents would let their kids abuse a beardie like that, I'm so glad you got her. You'll see a bit difference in just a few days.

I'm so looking forward to the Cirque du Soleil show, can't wait!

I will be updatin her thread. I know its hard to believe but theu didn't know they were doing anything wrong to her. They thought she was healthy. But she is so not.
