Meet Malazan!

I've been lurking and posting a bit here as I worked on my beardie enclosure. Today the boyfriend and I went to the reptile expo in White Plains, NY and came home with a 3 month old cutie. The enclosure is mostly done. We need to trim the tiles in the back and cut a branch so it fits in the oven. Of course the tiles were 1/16" too big.

Her name is Malazan. My fellow nerds may recognize this from D&D Forgotten Realms

I can't wait to see how her colors change over time.

Otherwise, I'm a 30 year old billing specialist, knitter, crafter, roller derby skater, artist, yogi, musician, nerd, herbalist, and a pagan. I really only have time for knitting and derby right now. My other babies are 2 cats named Zeus and Io, and my ball python Medusa. My derby name us Natasha Fatality. You can call me Fatal like my teammates do or by my real name Sarah. Love this community so far and excited to get to know my new family member.

The boyfriend still wants to give her an enclosure with the look of a ruined dwarven city. He works slow on projects. I didn't want to wait for the beardie so for now she gets the natural look.
