Hi reptar and mommy lol
My little one has also been acting different but it is because she is shedding the scaredness i also wouldn't worry about he's probably more stressed from shedding his skin and he is very young so I'd say just give him some time to come around
And I can totally relate on pet stores selling way too young. Most breeders don't sell till they are 8 weeks but with babies eating so many crickets a day it's cheaper for the breeder to just sell to a pet store when there young that's my guess. It's terrible because most people get them and a mixture of not knowing how to care for these babies and being misguided by the petstore's own staff and they have less a chance of making it
I was also a victim of this before I got a beardie I did some general research, read some BD books but nothing could prepare me more than this site and I wish I had found it before I got my baby...the pet store told me crushed walnut shells would be okay and picked out a coil
UVB light. At the time all i knew was sand wasn't good and to have a heat source and UVB.
I don't think the behavior is anything to worry about with a shedding baby. Good luck with him and I love all the pictures! He's beautiful
