I don't know if this qualifies for this forum, but, I want to know how anyone esle trims their beardies claws,. I'm kinda scared, but they're getting pretty long. So, what I do is sand them with some very fine sandpaper. Doesn't shorten em, but they're not as sharp. I do have nice clippers, but like I said......I'm scared. Should I just go ahead an clip a little at a time, and hope that I don't hurt him, or??????? :?

I just did this with mine and what I did was put him on my hand and held him up in front of a window. I could see where his nail meets the skin and I clipped below that as to be sure not to hurt him using a brand new pair of nail clippers to ensure they were sharp enough as no to pull on his nail at all . Got all of them done in just about a half hour since he likes to run alot and no bleeding. You could also try the tiles in his viv which most are saying helps keep them filed down. Others may have ideas as well. Hope this helps

Actually, all you have to do is clip the very tip off with baby or even adult nail clippers.
