Mealworms and Hornworms Question

Hey,

I have a bearded dragon, Merlin, who is almost 8 months old. A while ago I had read some things that said bearded dragons can get impaction as they cannot digest the shells that the mealworms are in (or something like that), and I was wondering if this is true. Also, if I am able to feed my beardie mealworms, is it ok to at his age?

Secondly, does anyone know where I can purchase hornworms in the UK?

Do superworms, much faster to breed, and better for him (Better Chitin[Their shell] to meat Ratio). Only if he is 16 inches or more,5 a day should suffice at that length.
Not sure about Hornworms, sorry.

Thanks, I will look into buying Superworms, but if I do feed him mealworms will it still be ok for him?

I stopped feeding mealworms because of risks and they just eat so many....didn't seem worthwhile.
