I've had my beardie for about 1.5 years. I got her from someone who rescued her from a petstore when she realized her MBD wasn't being treated. When I first got her she weighed 3.1 oz today she's 5.5 oz. (My other female is 10.8 and male is 13.4) She doesn't eat very much, I just started feeding her the Carnivore Care and giving her liquid Calcium Glubionate again (first time when I got her and once about 6 months ago). So my question is I've had her at 7oz thats her highest weight while I've had her what else can i do? I keep finding her flipped on her back so I'm not sure if its getting worse or is she just weaker because her weight went down? :-(

You need to get her into a reptile vet ASAP--- it sounds like adenovirus - she needs to be tested- is she stargazing but the flipping over on the back is a bad sign --- is she housed w/ the other dragon? If she is you need to get her into a different tank -- housing dragons together is a no no-- one becomes territorial and will dominate all the required thing for them to survive

She's housed alone. I've called the vet a few times and he's told me that she came in with such bad MBD that all I can do is make sure she eats and is properly taken care of. She can't chase her food I have to make sure she eats. :-( Can my other two get adenovirus even if they're separated from her? I mean I do take mines out to the yard when its nice out but they don't interact with her. My other two love each other and live together for about 5 years now with no problems.

Yes adenovirus is contagious- she needs to be tested- you can PM tracie drache613 or AHBD and ask them about her symptoms but the flipping on back is not good - Google adenovirus and read up on it--- as for the other 2 I would separate them - it is not good to house them together--

She's not stargazing. She had use of one of her arms and it looks like this one is losing its strength so when she tries to use it she ends up turning on her back. For the symptoms is there anything else to looks for for adenovirus? When I take her out to feed her, she's alert like always. Her eyes are only slightly closed not wide open like my other two but thats her "normal" look I guess because of the MBD.

Atadenovirus is a contagious disease that can cause serious illness in bearded dragons. Older literature refers to it as “adenovirus”. ... Others go on to develop bacterial infections. Some dragons end up with damaged livers and intestines and never seem to gain weight and sleep a lot. It can cause inflammation of the digestive system, liver, kidneys, and nervous tissue ...
It may be just MBD but when you said flipping over it caused for alarm-- I would get her in to the vet and have them do xrays and have them look at her - blood work is going to tell them how much calcium she has and if shes deficient- in the mean time I would get her as close to her UVB as possible why did you stop w / the calcium--- little ones need it for proper muscle growth --- I would PM Tracie Drache613 and AHBD and send them pictures of her --- they can better help you

Hello,

Poor girl, I hate to hear she is having so much trouble flipping, etc.
She is on liquid calcium 4-5 days per week right now?
Which UVB is she underneath, is it a new one? If you have pictures of her along with the
tank setup go ahead & post them so we can see her physical condition.
Adeno is contagious, yes. Sometimes though, for unknown reasons, they can actually be
housed together & if one has adeno the others wont contract it.
Did she just start developing these severe neurological problems recently?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
