Sorry, I am not from Mass., But I would suggest going on craigslist to look for a tank. Lots of members have found great enclosures on there, including myself.
Post a wanted ad as well. I posted one last year for a 40gl breeder and had a lady email me the same day offering a 30gl breeder (same footprint, just a little shorter) and a stand for free if I'd pickup from her. She even gave me a light fixture. She was a rabbit rescue (used to be turtle rescue), so I guess she had no need and wanted the space back - at least now I know where I can go when I want to get a bunny in the future..
I didn't even put a price I'm looking to spend in my ad.
I picked up another breeder (critter cage one) for $30 or so back 2 years ago from a wanted ad. I ended up becoming friends with the person I bought it from as well, and we now trade pet sitting and purchase supplies/feeders together.
Just make sure you are getting a good deal. Petco does $1/gallon tank days in August usually. I sold off my critter cage because I wanted something that can hold water if need be. I picked up another 40 gallon breeder on this sale day. I try to make sure I have water holding tanks, as if I have something go wrong with the fish tank, the reptiles can be moved to rubbermaid containers for a few days. I've had to do it in the past, so I always try to stay prepared.
I also check craigslist in places I'm going on vacation to, or will be traveling through. It's a habit I guess. I scored a 18x18x24 Exo-Terra open front enclosure for $60 with light hood in January (it's for the Tokay), retails for like $150+.
yea the one i had was an abandoned one in the wall of an old pet store they were tearing down. Any pet like that would be vicious, the tokay was over the top xD
