I'm guessing that Diane Questioned you because she cares about your beardie. Evidently she is alarmed about mixing those drugs. If she questioned me like that, I would be very appreciative, and would stop all the drugs until I had confirmation they were safe. She is one of the most experience people on this forum.

Your not that person and if it has worked for this guy. it should for me unless whatever these drugs suppose to do don't cure him and something else is wrong. I hope there experience members here if not then the advice wrong. I new here don't know these people you may be a elder member. If they are experience enough they should blog there knowings. Then members like myself don't have to post and be called irresponsible owner. I never new bearded dragon have vet for them. If I new now vet wouldn't be problem. I not getting any help recently here so have no reason here. I come for raptor and wanted to sure know it was brumation. I wrong so what am do now he get better or die he show signs of dieing. Vet is hopeless now I clean everything in his habitat and started drugs. My day with bearded dragon is coming to a end. Not the friend and pet for me. Won't get dragon ever again they cool be too hard to keep as pet. I suck what can I say.

Oh yes, we should all bow to the infinite wisdom of a minimum wage pet shop man. Hah.

You came here for advice. You got advice: take your dragon to the vet and have him diagnosed with something before pumping random medications in him. You don't even know what the problem is. Medication is generally hard on a dragon's body, so why put them through that when it might not even be necessary?

Once again I find myself wasting my breath on people with an IQ of room temperature. I am glad to hear you don't plan on getting a silkback now.

I already pump drugs into him. Don't wast your time then you need not to worry about a iq of people. Be a bit nicer and learn manners. I ain't wasting my breath or time dealing with your careless attitude. I wouldn't take advice from a rude kid YOU. Again keep typing all you like you are wasting your time I not.

Hello,

Reptaid should not be given at the same time with other medications.
The medications are fine to use, but not when they are not properly dosed. A fecal should be done. Since he has not eaten, you will need to feed him with chicken or turkey baby food mixed with squash baby food to get some nutrition into him so you can get him to go to the bathroom.
He is likely lethargic due to being overmedicated.
Let's keep the personal attacks & name calling out of this thread, they are not allowed on this forum. We are all trying to help you here.

You managed to get meds in him but continue to fail to get food in him?

Cool story bro, but the pieces just aren't adding up.

Hello,

Please, no more meds into him, he needs food into him as well. Lethargic just means he has no energy & is basically laying around possibly with a black beard, etc. Did he get himself up to just to bask?
You are not getting another dragon, correct?

Are you treating him now with Panacur, Albon AND Reptaid??????????
Pet shop man i spoke to told me too. I started treatment four day ago Monday. Will wipe out his system and mention organ damage if I don't give fluids is that true. He weight raptor and recommend cc of all three. I do this but not getting better yet. May I ask why you QUESTIONED me?
The reason I questioned you was because as Tracie said, Reptaid should NOT be given with any other medications. And, you need to have a wt on your beardie before any medications should be started because it gets dosed according to weight. Did someone weigh him? It's also true that you don't really know what is wrong with him so just treating him is very dangerous and can cause organ damage. Medications are very drying and can cause rapid dehydration. I hope you're keeping him well hydrated by giving frequent baths and oral fluids.

We have all been trying to help this poor beardie but you're not letting us. Pet store employees are not vets and actually don't research beardies and have as much experience as most of us here have. I know this probably won't happen but I think the best thing to do for your beardie would be to take him to a vet and have him looked at. It sounds like he is suffering and he doesn't deserve that, you said you cared about him so this would be the best thing to do. If there is something seriously wrong with him and the vet says he isn't doing good at all and won't improve, then please do him, us and yourself a favor and have him put to sleep to end his suffering.

The first round of medications may not have worked because he may not even have parasites, he may be sick from something totally different. Pushing crickets in his mouth is not the right thing to do, you should actually be giving him something easy to digest like squash and chicken baby food as well as fluids.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
