Lost Beardie :(

My reptile room is basically semi outdoors as it's on a rooftop garden. Recently my little girl seems to have snuck out from her tub and out.
She's been missing for 3 days now and i'm freaking out real badly. The only birds which come around are Mynah's (The Small Kind) & Magpies, do you think they could have gotten to her? She's only about 6". Dogs & Cats were never near my reptile room.

I'd appreciate all the replies.

Those birds may have gotten to her, but before jumping to conclusions, did you check around any planted pots, plants that can be easily climbed up by a small Beardie, or any hiding spaces.

I've checked every single corner, hole, or whatever she could be hiding under already. But i'm still progressing to check atleast twice a day.

Have you tried looking UP? She may have climbed a tree and is too afraid to climb back down. A popular DJ on the radio station I listen to lost one of his lizards and was gone for a few days I think. He had a reptile pro over to his place and he seen the lizard immediately in a tree. Just a thought. I hope you find her, I'd be devastated if my guy got out.

That seems like a good idea. I'll try that, hopefully i will find her..

Hello Zack......you might try getting a large jar and putting some lively crickets in there, tall enough so they can't get out. Maybe several jars around the patio. If it's hot out, put them in a bit of shade so they don't die quickly. Beardies have excellent eyesight, she may see the movement and come down to try and get them. She will keep trying even though she can't get through the glass as long as she sees them. I hope she'll turn up.

His first post says he lives in Malaysia. this is like the perfect outdoor weather down there, I'd guess it's really warm, and monsoon season wont start for another 4-5 months. Unless it's flooded there like it is in Thailand. Hmm.

Any news? Hope you find your little girl. I lost my girl once, too, found her climbing the stucco on our balcony. Caught her just before she was going to get beyond the balcony, so good luck, it's amazing how beardies can hide, especially little ones.
