Gizzy is my first beardie and has recently started shedding. Some background info: He's a rescue from Craigslist I got in June. He is 2 years old and 14 inches when last measured. Thankfully he has kept a good appetite still, although he is a bit cranky which is totally understandable. It started at the beginning of this month. He has already shed skin on his stomach, a patch on his side, patches on his legs, some places on his face, mouth and beard. The ash colored skin has developed in new areas that haven't shed yet. I'm a little concerned by the fact his shedding progress has stopped. The skin is staying ash colored and tight. I've been misting the areas daily, but maybe I need to do more? I'm not sure. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!
Here are pictures. He has been like this for quite a few days, probably going on a week now.
Here is his tail that I think might be rotting or have retained shed. If he has either or both, what should I do to treat it?
