Lix's thread

Hey just wanted to start a thread for Lix now that I've had her for a month and a half.

Wells to start off here is Lix today looking fresh after shedding all of yesterday.

She is a little over 8inches longs now and I believe she is about 3 and a half months old. When I first got her she was 6inches and she has grown 2inches in a little over a month. I've been tracking her growth and she seems to be growing faster as the weeks go by.

Here are some pictures of here when I first got her and her setup as of right now.

Here are two more pictures I took of her today just to have fun with.

And the last one is Lix with the key to my other love my Subaru.

Thanks, I love the coloring she has because some parts around her have a more intense orange color. I like how she hates her baths but she shows her best colors after one.

To answer your question Jpiroden she is in a 40 gal breeder.

What a pretty little dragon! LOL Her attitude toward bath time seems to accurately reflect my Rufus' feelings about the bath. Had to resort to a deep sink after two times in the nice plastic tub I bought. :roll:

Thank for all the compliments you guys. She definitely hates baths and I don't think she'll like them anything soon but a beardies got to get clean some how.

If the was a next Top Bearded Dragon competition I've already got one vote :mrgreen: .

But a little update on her, she had been eating 50-60 dubias up until last week and then she just kind of stopped. She also shed her underbelly so that was probably the why. I got her a little basking ramp and changed her cage up a bit also. Now she likes to go under that ramp and dig at for hours Idk but my temps are correct so it shouldn't be because she is trying to escape the heat. We've made some progress her eating. She had been eating 2 dubias in the morning and decided to eat more only when its 1-2hrs before lights off. But I just fed her this morning and she ate like 10 dubias so it looks like she is getting back to her old self.

She'll also have to compete for my attention soon because there will be another bearded dragon in the house. So she needs to be a good girl and eat her food so she can grow up big.

My big guy was like but he loved his bath time. He would make these noises as if to let him stay longer in the water. Mine also use to dig a lot, I'm thinking its just a phase in my opinion.

Reminds me of my teenager my oldest son, just going thru phases you know!
