So, Bandit was very active earlier tonight. He even found and climbed the old cat tree in the corner.
I put him back in his terrarium before lights out. I was still in the living room when there was the familiar tick of the timer and his lights going out, and before I got around to getting up and turning our lights out, I heard this noise like claws on the mesh of his roof. I turn to look and that's exactly what it is. He's standing as tall as he can on one of his branches with a claw in the mesh and he's looking like maybe he wants to come out.
So I brought him out for a little while and he glommed right onto my shoulder and fell asleep. It's not a good picture because the room was dim and I tucked a fleece over his body, but you can just see his little head in it.
So tonight I'm living the beardie dream--my baby was inquisitive and funny during the day and snuggly at lights out.
