Hey all,

i have a question regarding lighting outside the enclosure. my GF and i work early so in order to get two meals into our little boy (pic below) i set his timer for lights on at 5am and lights off at 7pm. my question is, will his day/night cycle get thrown off if we keep the living room (where his enclosure is) lights off. his basking bulb and reptisun 10.0 provide plenty of light in his enclosure but i wonder if all he sees is darkness outside of it will he get thrown off?

My husband works a late swing shift and gets home around 11pm and stays up till 3-5am with the lights on in the living room where I keep my beardie. I though it would mess with her night cycle to have ambient room lighting basically 24/7 since I get up for work about 5-6am. But she has been super in sync with the lights in her enclosure and seems completely unaffected by the lights in the house.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
