So I posed the question to LLLReptile a while back, and they replied saying that the only plants I could put in with my beardie would be aloe plants, since they'll try to eat everything.
So I'm in the process of building my Freddy a bigger cage, as he's reaching around 12" right now and will soon need more room to run around in. I figured now would be a good time to figure out what sort of plants I could put in with him to add some flair and atmosphere.
I'm probably going to go with aloe, but there are a lot of other succulents at Lowes, where I'm buying my cage supplies and material, that are really neat and don't look harmful. However, I don't know of they're safe if my Freddy decides he's in the mood for a succulent salad.
Lemme know what you guys know about what sort of plants are safe for my cage. If there is any specific succulents or aloe species I should avoid, please let me know along with what is okay for me to use!!
Also, if any of you guys are interested in using aloe in your cages, this website is great: http://gosucculent.com/store2/aloe/
