limping

Our Beardie is limping on his front leg for one day duration. He is 12 inches long now. We switched to large crickets about 3 weeks ago. I chop up his mixed vegies with a scissors instead of finely grated to about pea size. I give him vitamin powdered crickies once or twice a week. He has a cage outside that he goes to for a few hours after eating on most days. We just switched to a bigger aquarium inside that is 1 foot by 3 feet. The temp where he is around 90-100. No sand. He has a lizard UV light. We are so worried....

Okay some more specific information is needed, please.

What is that lizard uvb? how close can he get to it? how old is it ?

Why are you only feeding insects 1-2 times a week? Is he over 18 months in age ?

Sorry, and thanks for replying. We feed him crickets 5 to 6 days a week. I dust them just a couple of days because I read that if you give him a lot of outside time then you could over supplement... His uvb is 7%. I just noticed a remark about removing a lens so I hope that isn't what happened. I just removed the lens from the flourescent light fixture (outer light covering)... Please tell me this is temporary. We got this little guy in Febr. and he was prob. 7 inches, now about 12 inchs. He seems to be happy and healthy until the last two days... He is so adorable.

Oops, He was born in Febr. and we got him in April or May. Seems like we've had him longer.
