Lilly and Lyla

I finally got my new baby today! She has done great so far. Other than a dark belly she has shown no signs of relocation stress. At 6 months and 104 gm, she ate a meal that would have rivaled my boyfriends 10 month old, 314 gm dragon. She had hornworms, butterworms, and crickets. We actually had to cut her off on cricket because I stupidly bought some that were way to big (we picked out the littlest ones). I have already taken several pictures so I just have to share. I will be updating this post periodically with more pictures and stories. (I have to add my funny cricket story here. Yesterday I went to feeder's supply to get crickets because I won't be able to get bulk until monday. A girl in her 20s or so was helping me. She had jeans on with torn knees. As she was almost done with my crickets she says "Oh my gosh". "What?" I asked. "A cricket just crawled into my pants." She hurried off to go take care of it and another worker came to finish my cricket order. I found it hilarious).

Poor Lilly, too tired to squish herself into her cave. I just love the pics & her beard is so colourful! Sweetie girl. So did you find out what Jackie was playing in to be covered in dirt? Are you getting storms, too. All our dragons are quiet right now, it's as if they're brumating, but I think they're just annoyed that they're all (except Didi & Sweetie) shedding in bits & pieces. Lonzo's so annoyed I hardly see him!

Give Lilly a bit hug & kiss, she's such a cutie,
Deb

I think Jackie was probably trying to get under the shed again. Either that or playing in groundhog holes  . We are getting a storm right now but this is the first rain we've had in quite a while.

I weighed Lilly and my little princess is actually a bit smaller than I thought at 643 grams. I really thought she'd be well over 700!

There are four codes in a box with every picture on photobucket. One is like a hyperlink then there are others. Anyway the one you want is the img code. Just copy that over and paste. You can hit the preview button to make sure it works before you post.

She still doesn't look that big. Guess she's one of those lucky ones who hides it well

I would, Sara. Rubio is just under 800g, so I know what you mean by heavy! When he's snuggling on my shoulder, I sure know it!

Lilly such a pretty dragon, I just love her colours & she doesn't look her weight either. So she's well-proportioned. And the weight loss would be from running around the house, keeping the dogs under control...you know, her normal duties!
Sweetie says hi :D to Lilly

Haha thanks! My dad measured her this morning (as he was putting the tape measure away, he tried to measure the dogs but they are terrified of it, so he measured her instead) he said she was almost 22"! Little brat is still growing even though she is over two years.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, Lilly has a new playmate (but only from afar). I am watching a young beardie (maybe 10 months old) for the next week. He is such a cutie! I must say he is tempting me into taking one of Renee's babies!

It's quite a temptation isn't is Sara? How's the little one doing? Did you get a wt on him?

He's doing well. He ate 12 crickets this morning (that's what they told me to feed him) and watched TV with me for a bit. Right now he's curled up in the back of his tank, which worries me a bit. I'm hoping he's just overwhelmed. He watched every move I made while I was down there. I have him in the basement so that he and Lilly don't bother each other, but I'm wondering if there's TOO much going on down there (brother and friends are down there quite a bit).
I really am considering a new baby. I think I may pick one out while I'm down there then have Renee ship her back when I come home (depending on if she's big enough). I had wanted to drive so I could bring a baby home with me, but decided I shouldn't drive 12 hours by myself (the most I've ever driven alone is like 2). And I've heard airlines don't let lizards on and the pet fee is like $100 so I would be better off having her shipped :? . I just have to figure out where another tank would go. I love having Lilly in my room, but a second tank would make things quite crowded. I would almost certainly have to move a piece of furniture out. We'll see!

She's gorgeous! And she has such a long tail, congrats :D

Thanks, she is a big girl. I have been saying how small my beardie-sittee is, but one of my friends told me today he's not small, Lilly is just godzilla.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
