Lilly and Lyla

I finally got my new baby today! She has done great so far. Other than a dark belly she has shown no signs of relocation stress. At 6 months and 104 gm, she ate a meal that would have rivaled my boyfriends 10 month old, 314 gm dragon. She had hornworms, butterworms, and crickets. We actually had to cut her off on cricket because I stupidly bought some that were way to big (we picked out the littlest ones). I have already taken several pictures so I just have to share. I will be updating this post periodically with more pictures and stories. (I have to add my funny cricket story here. Yesterday I went to feeder's supply to get crickets because I won't be able to get bulk until monday. A girl in her 20s or so was helping me. She had jeans on with torn knees. As she was almost done with my crickets she says "Oh my gosh". "What?" I asked. "A cricket just crawled into my pants." She hurried off to go take care of it and another worker came to finish my cricket order. I found it hilarious).
On to pictures:

Put your foot down so he knows who's boss ~ hopefully that student won't be a thorn in your side all year. But you have to let him know his language is inappropriate, whether he likes it or not. :( Hard to do, I know you're not much older than these kids!

What Dawn said!
Except for the I'm 45 part.

Hope that first day is going great! :)
I agree, except for the 45 part, wish I was that young.

Sounds like a great position, very challenging, bet you won't get bored.

I agree with Dawn, you need to "nip it in the bud" so that he knows that it won't be tolerated.

I agree that you really have to put your foot down. Some kids need the discipline. So good luck with the kids. Will look good on your CV at least.

So Lilly gets scared when you sniffle with your allergies? Isn't it funny what bugs them & what doesn't?

Good luck with your new job, Sara, I know you'll do well.

How's Lyla doing? Bet she's growing by leaps & bounds!

Good luck getting Lyla to stop. It seems when they find a comfy place, that's what they use. If Lonzo's wandering around the living room, he'll always use the same concrete block that's on the ramp. Go figure & he's not a baby, he's 8 yrs old!
Glad everything is going well at school, isn't it great to be working, even if it isn't your dream job?

Whoops I was exhausted when I posted. He got poison ivy and that hS since turned into a very bad infection which swelled so bad it constricted the veins and caused a clot

Sara, sending prayers that all is okay with you fiancee. I'm confused how one gets a blood clot from poison ivy though. :?

So your sweet little Lyla thinks her bowls her potty? Are you sure she's not just telling you she's finished with her salad? LOL

Good luck on the computer problems. I am about to crash myself...blue screens and acting funky. Yikes! Not again!

Prayers, hugs, and snuggles!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
