For a mega ray, you need at least a 40 breeder tank and a ceramic drop light fixture rated for 250 to 300 watts for the mega ray 100 watt. I found one at Home Depot for about $15, maybe more now. They call it a brooder clamp light.

Huh? He is asking what a good flourescent bulb would be to compliment his Mega Ray.
Anyways Danny, as I said in the PM, you can have a high CRI or high output....but typically not both depending on wattage. I suggest you think about adding anothe fixture if possible, as your not going to find an output much higher then 900 lumens in the 5000k range (for a 20w t12). I personally use two flourescent fixtures (non-uv daylight bulbs) in my tank, in addition to the mega ray and a secondary basking spot. A single 48" t12 was not enough light for a 60 gallon, and its total light output is roughly double what your looking at now (1700 lumens or so). Simply adding a second clamp lamp holding another flourescent solved the problem, and it only cost about $12.
Well i donno if this will help ya but i recently went through the same thing with my 4x2x2 i built, and i ended up getting a 48" florescent hood from homedepo for like $15, there the ones u hang in sheds or garages, and then got a two pack of "Sunlight" 5000k tubes for $6 and it's kinda nice cause the fixture takes 2 32W t-8's and they light it up beautifully.
ya but i have that now a 5K sunlight one.. and its like 850 lumens.. not that bright, the 65K ones are over a 1000 with lumens, and i dont wanna get 2 fixtures.
Well you would only need the one strip hood and the dome for the mega ray, but i hear u on not wanting all those things on the screen, n as for the lumens thing i donno wut kinda tube your getting but the ones i got are 32W 5000k with 2800 lumens, so there plenty bright for me, im not sure if that because there 48" 32w t-8's but yea, 2 are def bright enough lol
