lighting question?

Hey guys I was wondering if the Zilla uvb 15 watt T8 florescent tube bulb is safe for my beardie because I heard someone say that its bad for them. I bought it with the Zilla slimline it came together already in it. I will post pics later of it, I was also wondering on how to mount it.

Actually, no, it isn't a good bulb at all and there have been lots of health issues associated with using it. The only 2 good UVB's are the Repti-Sun 10.0 tube or the Arcadia bulbs.

That bulb is made by Zoo Med though. You don't want the Repti-GLO made by Exo Terra.

one more question will the exo terra reptisun 10.0 fit in my Zilla slimline fixture It says for 15 watt T8 bulbs only.

There is a exo terra 10.0 tube though at my petstore (its not compact)

You don't want the Repti-GLO tube or compact/coil and you don't want the Repti-Sun compact either. Just the Repti-Sun 10.0 tube.

So should I get the zoo med 10.0 reptisun or the exo terra 10.0 tube because the exo terra tube is not compact and it says 10.0.

one problem My fixture will only hold a 18" reptisun bulb but the 18" is only 5.0 uvb

nvm I found one that is 18" and is 10.0
