I don't know how active this part of the forum is, but I thought Id give it a shot.
Im planning on getting a leopard gecko soon, and a crested gecko when a reptile expo comes around in October.
Since they are both nocturnal my question applies to both. Im planning on keeping both their enclosures in my bedroom, which is light from natural sunshine during the day, and it also somewhat light at night until I turn them off to go to sleep. Is this going to be ok? Or would they need to be in a separate room where they could be in complete darkness at night? Sometimes I don't end up going to sleep until 2am...will the lamps being on in my room stress them out? Or will I need to cover the sides of their enclosures at night?

Thanks for the advice! :)

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
