Sorry for my very late reply; I have been having health problems lately so I haven't been on the computer all that much.
Absolutely, feel free to use the Youtube vid. The more people who see what could happen the better. Knowledge is power. :wink:
As for an update, sorry again for the long periods I go without posting... Depression is a bummer(lol, get it?)... Been having a hard time finding any pleasure in life, for the last year or two really. When a couple people died in 2010, I lost the only people in my family who weren't completely consumed by alcohol and rage. What I am left with is a shell of the life I once had.
Wow. Enough bummerness... LG is alive and kicking. Actually, I took her out a day ago and while I was sitting there(maybe 6 or 7 feet away from her), a dang hawk swooped down across my back yard and tried to get her! :shock:
I'm constantly on the lookout for predators, so as soon as I saw the motion I jumped up and ran toward LG; The hawk was definitely quicker, but because I was so close it apparently didn't have enough time to drop all the way down to the ground and grab her... Scary stuff, I don't think she fully realized what happened, but I'll tell you my heart was going for awhile. Still can't believe that almost happened;
I will definitely be more careful outside now, will stay close enough that a bird wouldn't try anything(although I thought I was, to be honest)...
She is doing good, I am still feeding her those crickets that were donated(
thanks again so much), She is also getting greens and some carrot too. She seems to be happy and healthy, though I'm no vet...
Pics to come. ever since I lost all my pictures it just hasn't been the same... I used to take pictures every other day, and now I might do it once a week if at all. Just really took the wind out of my sails when tens of thousands of images were wiped: Just like flipping a switch...
Will seriously try to get the camera off the shelf and start using it again. :|
