Whoops, sorry for the slow replies - I didn't have internet at the new place until this week, and work has been insane!
@SLDragon - I give him wax worms as a treat from time to time, but he doesn't care for crickets (too lazy to chase them) and phoenix worms and the like are just too expensive. I tend to take him out of his hide and make him bask, but leave the hide there so he can go back to it after he gets some light.
@Tracie - He's doing much better! His appetite is still low, but he's definitely eating now. He gets through most of his salad every day (I'm never really sure of the quantity to give him, though - generally I do about 1.5 handfuls of mustard or collard greens), and he's eating at least a few roaches each day. Yesterday he had four, the day before he had eleven, and the day before that he had six. He has much more energy now, so he's wandering around his cage and draping himself over his perches and will run around in my room a bit before finding somewhere to curl up. Still eating a bit less than I'm comfortable with, but I'm also not yet personally familiar with how their appetites change as they get older and veer more toward greens than proteins...
