This looks alot like a neurological problem. Heat can cause problems like that, double check the temps in the cage and i might move it out of the sunlight, the sun gets hot as hell through the glass.

Well ive been really busy at work, getting married in 2 weeks and closing on a house in a week and a half so i havnt had much time to update. He was looking worse and wouldnt eat or poop. But today he snapped out of it a little it seems. He had a huge poop, 3 or 4 times larger than normal, leading me to think maybe impaction. I gave him a soak today and he seemed much more happy. He had some sand on his lips so i scooped up a little water and let it trickle down my fingers onto his lips and he started drinking it, then started drinking from the bath itself which he has never done before. Hopefully its a sign he is getting better. Now if he would eat something id feel somewhat better.

As for the lighting. We only put him out there for about 15 minutes and wont do it any more. The uv bulb is a Zilla brand desert 50. Im waiting for the new one to come in.

The major problems right now are not eating and not wanting to move anything but his head and neck. Not sure why but he keeps his front legs curled up and his hind lehs sprawled out.

Hmm just cancled my order for a reptisun 10. They do carry them at my petsmart. Maybe because houston is the 4th largest us city. Mine has a pet hotel, vet, adoption center, and groomer. Now the question. Should i leave both UVB lights on or just the reptisun?

Is it the Repti-Sun 10.0 fluorescent tube that you got at Petsmart? If it is, then you don't need any other UVB at all as this bulb is a very good one. It should be placed 6 to 8" from your beardie while in the basking spot. How often are you dusting with calcium and vitamins?

As far as the reptile sand goes, it would be a good idea to remove it from the tank as that may very well be what's causing the impaction problems.

Since he's not eating, would be best to pick up some chicken and squash baby food, dilute with a little water and put drops on his nose for him to lick off. Please be sure to keep us updated on him.

Hello,

Yes, definitely removed the Zilla UVB light right now, it is not a very good bulb. Just leave in the Reptisun 10 tube bulb in right now.
Do you have any pictures of him now?
Please let us know how he is doing. I hope he is feeling a little bit better than last time.

He is still the same. Not wanting to eat not moving anything but his head while he is in his cage. In his bath he was a little more active, he swept his tail around a little in his bath and put his legs in a more normal position and bit a superworm i was holding in front of his nose but spit it back out. He is losing weight visably, i dont have a scale. Ill post a picture of him here in a minute. Im wondering what i can do for him, i cant afford to take him to the vet and have actually thought about giving him to a pet store. I dont want to but i really dont want him to die. I have the reptisun bulb on him but it does not seem to be helping.
