My bearded dragon Poe has very large legs compared to other bearded dragons I have seen. I was wondering if this may be a health concern or if she is just WELL fed? Another side note, when I plop her down on the floor, she never adjusts her legs to be right back underneath her. Sometimes she will just sit there with them twisted under her. To me it seems uncomfortable but then something will catch her attention and she'll right them and run off.

Poe 1yr 5mth
Pagona Vitticeps
635g

Habitat
55 g Aquarium
100wt basking (123°F at its hottest)
50wt ceramic heat emitter for nighttime heat (93°F at its hottest)
25wt Reptisun 48" 10.0 for UVB (6mths old will be replacing next month)
Cage carpet (replaced weekly)

Diet
50 Crickets dusted with Fluker calcium with d3 (4 times/week, Rep Cali multi-vitamins the other 3days)
Spring mix 3 times per week (Spinach, kale, baby lettuces ... I know not the best but she loves it)
Giant mealworms 3 times per week (3-4 per feeding)
Carrots
Figs (added calcium)
Misted twice a day

Health
Seems normal, runs around the house and outside when she wants to, basks and sleeps most of the day.
Takes a soaking bath 3 times per week, washed with a gentle oatmeal, baking soda dog shampoo.
Loves to go outside (Usually once per day for an hour) and on car rides.
Loves to go outside and play in the rain.
Poop seems normal with plenty of urate in it. (2" solid green/grey in color with a 1/2" or urate)
*shhh* Sometimes sleeps with Dad at night.

Hi there.....the legs ae normal for a chubby dragon, which she is just slightly. :) Along with that, their legs do look bigger when they shed, part is optical illusion + part can be the skin shed just barely lifting away giving the appearance of bigger legs. By the way, 120 is way too hot, if you can adjust it the high temp. for adults is 100-105. During the summer you don't need any night heat as long as it doens't get below 65 at night. Anywhere near 90 is way too high, desert animals need it to cool off at night ....save your electric bill !

Since she's grown now, it's important to cut back if you're feeding her 50 crix 4X a week [ am I right ? 200 a week ? ] this will lead to too much fat in her abdomen. Cut back to about 50 -60 per week rather than per day. You can cut back on the supplements as well....calcium with D3 very lightly can be given 2-3X a week on the lesser number of insects and multivitamin 1-2X a week also very lightly. Her salads are O.K, just add turnip, mustard, dandelion + collard greens to make the bulk of her salad. It's good that she likes greens though. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
