Kozmo is back!!

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a longgggg time... but Kozmo is finally out of brumation. It’s been a few weeks now, but she’s back & feistier than ever! Waiting for her to “wake-up” was no fun, but was interrupted by a family tragedy. Our oldest son was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer just after Christmas. He had surgery around New Years and has started chemo treatments now. It was a blessing that we didn’t have to worry about Kozmo for a while, since she was brumating.

Since mid January she’s been out of her cage daily, wandering around the house again. And today kept trying to jump out the low sunroom window, so I brought her out for some natural sunshine. It’s breezy & slightly cool, but the sun feels amazingly warm! She’s happy to be out! But weary of the small planes and birds overhead and the new barking puppy next door. She’s a cutie-pie and brings a smileʕᵔᴥᵔʔ to my face.

Oh hey, it's good to see that she's up + around ! Looks good there in that outdoor picture, enjoying the sun. She looks good !

I am very sorry to hear about your son, I truly hope that the treatment will be successful. How very stressful for you....my thoughts are with you + your family.

Hi Ellen, We bought Kozmo from our local Petstore. She was on sale as a ‘fancy” bearded dragon. She was teeny tiny when we brought her home. We got lucky with her being a nice hypo leatherback, I think her orange coloring is so pretty! She’s super healthy and although feisty at times, well tempered.

I appreciate everyone’s well wishes. We will take all the prayers we can get!!!
