Know of any good Beardie breeders in the CT,NY or MA area?

i want to get a beardie soon and was gonna order one online but was curious if anyone knew or recommended any breeders within driving range for me (im in CT myself but driving to NY or MA isn't unreasonable) as this time of year it is cold as hell (-2 tonight with a wind chill of -20) so im not to sure on having a Beardie shipped to me anytime soon so i wanted to see if anyone knew of any breeders i could check out


what im looking for is a Beardie with some very nice red coloring (deep red like crimson) , Leatherback would be a plus

Hitikouri, if you Google reptile shows in each of those states you will see where there are probably some expos in your area.

i looked and didn't see any in CT though im not surprised about that but there is one in NY i'll probably check out


though im still interested in hearing from anyone who may have dealt with a breeder in any of those areas as it never hurts to get more information about any local breeders i don't know of

I live in CT and I just went to the reptile expo in White Plains, NY on Jan 4th. It was a great show. I picked out my beardie from the breeders at Dragon Fortress (www.dragonfortress.com). Everyone from there was really knowledgable and answered all my questions. I also felt that for a breeder table they had a nice set up where no one was in little containers or deli cups. You can get in touch ahead of time and they'll send you photos. They also have a one month health guarantee and lifetime customer service.

When I went on sunday I picked out Zan and was able to buy all my supplies. I got dubias for super cheap along with the egg cartons, food, and water crystals I needed.

Like any other place they have crappy breeders and great ones. I really think I lucked out. Zan has eaten every day. She is a very alert and active 3 month old. I handle her a little bit with no problems. Really recommend them.
