I claim this rock in the name of my vacation-nation. This is my traveling viv.

Not so excited about the snow.

Wow, it's been forever since I've posted.

I built a new viv out of window screen. More open air. Doing well.

If you use window screen, 4' is about the limit. If you try for 6', it's going to warp inwards from even the slightest tension in the screen material.

But at least now free-ranging cricket hunts are on the menu.

Since the beginning of October, Knecco has been brumating. He's kinda boring right now. I'm reading the guides on how to deal with him, but mostly he's just a bump on a log.

I made an effort to wake Knecco up. His batteries only last for about 3 hrs. Then he goes running for the nearest, darkest, dragon-sized hiding spot. For now I've left him under the nightstand where I can easily check on him without bothering him.

Brumation must be coming to an end.

Knecco comes out on his own now.

He's waking up better than me. He's doing pilates.
