Not directly but if you keep the temps less than ideal they tend to breed more slowly from what I've seen. Cellar temps in the 55-65f range should slow them down quite a bit.

Where would be a good place to store them, I know not the garage because the heat index where I'm at was 110 today.

Well nobody is aloud and dosent have basements because of flooding and flat where we live, so I thought my closet, it around the coldest room in the house, that I can use.

Ok thanks, my parents are starting to consider me buying dubias for blitz, so I'm just making sure I do my research on how to care for them.

Why do you not want them to breed? It would save you and your parents a ton of money if you kept them in a manner that allowed them to breed. That way you could stop buying them. They wont get out and breed in the house if that's a concern.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
