I requested that the promoters of the reptile expo I will be vending at (in the US) try to track down some shinglebacks for me. Or a unicorn....
Shinglebacks are so rare in the US I would probably find a unicorn easier.

Typical prices here in NSW are about $200 per shingleback baby or juvenile. http://reptilesdownunder.com/search/Shingle%20back/page/2/

I didn't get them at the time as i was desperate for a beardie... Those prices seem reasonable, they are around that price in pet stores here, but u can find one for $100-$150 pretty easily.
