Kazi's foot is getting better!!! - UPDATE PG4 21/11/08

EDIT - Im going to update this thread with pics of Kazi, at least once a month, just so I have all his progress pics in the one place - scroll through for more!

Posted about a week ago, pics of our new baby (Crooksey) we rescued from the pet shop... now she's got a name which suits her perfectly, Kazi (as in Kamikaze) and her foot is healing well!! So here are some before and after pics of her!

This was her when we got her last Friday (23rd May)

And this was her today, Sunday (1st June)

I'm just so proud of all the progress she has made already - we still have a bit to go but things are definitely looking better for the crazy ladies foot... thanks to everyone who has helped!

Im so excited for her and really proud of how well shes doing!! I really did fear the worst for her foot when we got her home... but fingers crossed things will continue to improve!!! I could hardly contain my excitement when she started using the toes - my fiance, who had been on night shift, was woken by me screaming 'Kazi's using her toes, come and see, quick!!!' needless to say, i got the fiance death glare before he rolled over and went back to sleep - oops! :?

Congratulations on the good care you're giving Kazi. :headbang: Her colour was so dark when you got her home and now look, she's such a beautiful light butterscotch colour, means she's happy and comfortable. By the pics you can hardly tell there was a problem with her foot. Well done, I just love success stories, brings a tear to my eye. We got her a month ago on Friday past so just thought i would share some more pics of her! Shes not quite so in love with the camera as her big sister but I managed to snap a few of her today!!

Wow, her foot looks almost completely normal! What a change! You know, if she was nuts before, I can't even imagine what she's going to be like now. You'll have to get her a padded viv so she can bounce off the walls! :laughing6:

Well shes lost the end of her long toe and 2 other nails this week... but overall, her foot looks excellent n shes doing really well otherwise...

o shes still crazy... i was discussing how we can do some kazi-proofing of her new viv when its ready!!! lol... padding sounds like an option lol -but im sure she would find a way to use it in an 'unsafe'/scary way!!! i swear shes determined to keep me worrying!! Shes a little cutie tho... even if she is a maniac!!
