Finally bit the bullet and made Kazi's memorial pic for you. It's sort of simple in comparison to some others that I had done, but I felt it was very fitting.

Deb, just like Sweetie, Kazi was just so, so special-he was the one who always made me feel better!
Kalyn, I know I did my best for him. Sometimes people judge me for keeping him alive but, while he was fighting, I had to keep fighting too!
Shannon, Otto was a great support too. In the morning, before Kazi died, I remember posting in the ROTCT that we didn't have much longer left... Otto was just so level headed but caring and made me feel a lot better about what was going to happen. I know that feeling you are talking about. I genit a lot when I talk about him.
Diane, I can't believe it has been so long for you with Sabrina either! It is good to be able to talk though-sometimes j can and other times it's impossible

I don't know if I have told you this but, you know, Kazi is still here! Huff has certainly taken on his 'randy' attitude! When Kazi was here, Huff never would have acted like such a nutter! And Travis constantly has this little look in his eye that reminds me so much of my special wee man!!

That's interesting. As odd as it sounds, I have caught myself calling Chief another name...Stalker. :shock: Stalker was a cat I lost almost 2 years ago. He wasn't the favorite cat but he was a good one. There is literally no logical reason for me to call Chief Stalker. I have had about 40 cats in my lifetime, some still live with my ex and the rest are gone but not forgotten. It's so....odd. I keep wondering if there is a similar something that makes me do that or am I just absent-minded...? (Otto will say I am absent-minded as all get out. HA!)

You are very welcome. Sorry it took so long. Sometimes I have to be completely 'sane' over a beardie's passing before I can 1) look through his/her photos and 2) bring myself to say goodbye by making the memorial pic (my way of letting go [note to those who hasn't received a pic from me]).

Christina, I completely believe you when you say that your wee monkey's still with you, in his own way. Months after Hallie (my German Shepherd) passed away, I noticed that Zim started to behave in ways that were totally not himself but her mannerisms. He suddenly became very smart (not saying he wasn't before) and even understood more English.
