You have a cute little one there. He is also really skinny. When I first brought Buddy home he didn't really want to eat a lot either. Like Cooper said keep trying. Make sure the bugs you feed him fits between their eyes. I notice Buddy won't go for small things now. I put a small cricket in the vivi and he looked at it and then turned his head. I personally use a T5 bulb from Arcadia and it sits right on top of the cage along with a 100W heat bulb. While in the bath Buddy doesn't seem to want to drink he only wants to swim, poop, then get out of the tub.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've tried crickets and Phoenix worms, and he's not interested at all right now. I just ordered some extra small Dubia roaches so hopefully he hangs in there and maybe he will prefer those.

Hi! I know I'm late to this, but I've rescued many bearded dragons in the past, and there are many things to get them rehydrated. Is he eating well? If so, you may want to put that food into his water bowl, they will swim and swim trying to find a way out, and that will defiantly get your beardies attention! He will try to get it, and in the process will gulp some water. Now, if he isn't eating, I fill up a non pointy string with water, and put little drops of it on his mouth. If he doesn't open his mouth, I carefully put it in their mouth and just put a tiny tiny bit of water in. After that, they will most likely swallow it once the syringe is out of their mouth. If he's eating greens, put some water on top of those, they will for sure hydrate your beardie when he goes to eat them. Now, if none of the above works I put them in a bath, the water will soak through their skin and hydrate them a little giving them that energy they need to actually drink the water. This is my first post, so if it's everywhere that's why. I hope the little guy is alright! :)

Thanks for the advice :) Drago is still hanging in there but has eaten absolutely nothing for several days. He has licked a little water off his nose and just a tiny drop of baby food squash. He seems to be a little less alert and sleeping more, so I am taking him to a vet this afternoon. We'll see, but regardless, I am so thankful for all of your responses.

Hmm.. Seems you may need to force feed him if he hasn't eaten in a few days. If you want to try, look up How To Feed You Bearded Dragon Feeders!!! Michel Behrends. That should fill him up.. Keep us posted on what happened to Draco.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
