Glad to hear that Tofu if doing better. 10" would be about 3-5 months. But that depends on the diet. How often do you usually hold Tofu and how do you pick her/him up?

Iheartlemmonade: hi! i pick him up usually once a day for about 5-10 minutes, i try not to put him down when he's squirming... and if he opens his mouth at me it's funny i say "NO" and point at him and he closes it haha anyway i let him see my hand/fingers, i waggle them so he sees them move and then i gently move my hand past his face/head along side his body up and around and then kind of wiggle and scoop my fingers under his tummy and gently lift him up. i try to catch his little flailing limbs asap so he doesn't feel like he's falling. also when i hold him i kind of encircle his head/upper body with my thumb/fingers very lightly so he feels secure. at least, i hope he does...!

Well he seems to be warming up. When he opens his mouth at you, have a piece of greens to offer to him. That way if he bites he bites the veggies.

ILL yes I've read that about popping food into the open mouth! They're so quick tho-usually by the time I get something about to put in they've closed up already. They are so not interested in veggies, not even fruits-mango, strawberries, watermelon, all the stuff I've heard beardies love- nothing. The bigger one will gobble down a zucchini flower sometimes... I chop up dandelion leaves, clovers, and sometimes a little kale or collard green or mustard greens. occasionally a bit of romaine but mostly dandelion leaves-they are always available at the grocery store or my backyard (NEVER used pesticides in 13 years :) ) and sometimes a nasturtium flower, clover flower or a zucchini or squash blossom when there's one in the garden. a little chopped cucumber. i'd even eat that salad! but nope-nothing but crickets and wax worms for these carnivorous beasties. Tofu was so little and wouldn't even eat crickets so I would hand feed him wax worms every day. I know they are like french fries but he loved them and he finally was eating something so I just went with it. And he's growing so I am not going to worry. And oh you will get a kick out of this: every day I give them both water from a dropper-they drink it like little babies, drop by drop, lapping it up. really really cute!

Did you have a coil uvb? if so I've read up about beardies acting up because of those saw some comments on lighting but never read what you said about uvb.

hi ILL- tofu's a little better- still wants to jump/run but we hang out by the screened window in the mornings now and he/she seems to like the warm sun and listening to the birds and bugs... still very skittish though... i'd say he/she eats about 4 or 5 small crickets a day plus several wax worms but that's really it, i put dandelion greens in every day but i don't think he/she is eating much of it. however there's at least one if not two poops a day so i guess there is eating going on. spiny is getting really big and gets very distracted by my painted fingernails it's funny, he/she is much calmer when i hold him/her but he/she can barely fit on my one hand now, 5 1/2 inches s-t-v not including tail... shedding again and getting really orange! so cool. tofu's face stripes and the ones along his/her back on either side are turning orange too, so they must be from the same parents but there's such a marked size difference-tofu is only 4" s-t-v that i thought they were different ages... i don't know... i'm still getting the hang of this reptile thing!

Here are pics of Spiny:

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
