Jumping out of my arms

So yesterday, Mohinder jumped out of my arms and into the ground, which is about a 5 1/2 foot leap. He landed, brushed himself off, and continued to run around on the floor. Figured that meant he hadn't injured himself, but just wanted to ask if there are any signs for him being injured that I should look out for?

Also: I've noticed when I have him out of his viv and he's running around, he bumps into a lot of things before realizing he can't go any further. Any reason for this? Is this a normal thing?

If he didn't seem hurt, he should be fine. Just look out for lots of stress marks or black bearding - it could be the sign of internal issues. But I doubt it. I'm guessing he is running mostly into white things? They don't understand white, so they tend to run into it, thinking that there is nothing there.

He runs into white things and dark colored things mostly. Just wasn't sure if that was possibly something messed up with his vision, though he hunts crickets just fine so im not too worried, just thought I'd ask. But thank you for the info!
