Hi guys I used to have a bearded dragon when I was 8 years oldand after 10 years I got another one. Hes a baby about 3-4 inches. Its been so long since I had one butI missed GGodzilla (my first one who died bcuz I wentb on vacation and ny mom forgot abiut him) so I went to pets mart and got godzilla jr. ive had him about a month and I love him but its been a while since my last beardy so Im a little rusty. Hes hanginging on my shoulder watching me as I type this...I only have one concern....hes kinda dark....what does that mean?

It means he's cold or stressed.

Are the temps on his viv right? Maybe put him back into warm up every so often and then you could take him out again...

On a serious note, it means he is EITHER stressed / basking. The dark absorbs heat better, but if theyre dark all around the cage or in your hand its just stress. Dont bother them for a few days but for only baths. Theyll return to normal. After all, he is in a new home. Let him adjust.
