Jiffy's beardies, Someone New!** pg 42

I do not have a thread for all of my boys day to day adventures.
I will start one here. I have bunches of pictures and cuteness, but dont want to overload anyone, so I will add stuff along.

Waffle just turned 4 on April 2nd. I have had him since he was about 6 weeks old.
Sweet boy, laid back, doesnt like to eat half the time. And he hates my boyfriend Butch! :lol:

Foster is my Craigslist beardie. I had not been looking for another beardie, but saw an add on Craigslist that said looking for a home for 3 legged baby bearded dragon. Well, that was all it took.
He will be 3 on June 16th. I have had him since he was almost 6 weeks old. He likes to eat, and head bob and black beard, and just lay around being bright orange!

Brady is my newest baby, and was my 2009 Valentines Day Present. He was in a local petstore, he was missing an arm, had no uv light, barely being fed, very tiny, in nasty conditions. I tried for 2 months to get the store to give him to me, or sell him to me. They said they were keeping him as a pet. Finally my boyfriend got him for me for Valentines Day. I think he is a bit more persuasive than I am! :wink:
He turned 1 on August 1st.

Hi Jen,

I couldn't pick out the best either, they were all good. Good choices. I really enjoy the one of Foster with the peach & pic of him with peach on his face is so cute. He sure looked happy!

I'll be looking forward to seeing your pics in the new calendar. I couldn't get any good closeups this year. When I had the time, they were mostly sleeping, brumation has hit our house. Even days when they're all up, they're all waking up later and later and going to sleep again earlier and earlier. I'll make sure to have better pics next year.

And I have to say, that Butch and my camera take awesome pics! I am sooo not good at taking pics. My hands shake so bad for some reason, so even with image stabilization, my pics are still shaky. And also I dont know how to use all the features on the new camera. I can take a basic picture, but cant use any of the features.

LOL, thanks Jordan! He likes his peach and any fruit he can get ahold of now. It only took 3 years for him to eat fruit.

Hopefully Phoenix wont make you wait that long!
All of mine eat their veggies ok (except for Waffle, sometimes he is a weirdo, but I LOVE him!)
But none would eat fruit. Within the last 3 weeks or so, Foster has decided that he loves fruit. I am so happy!

hahah at one point my big boy ate veggies but decided against them suddenly and hasnt touched them since lol, but lovesss fruit lol... atleast he's getting something good in him rightT? lol

Yeah you are right Jordan, at least he is getting something good! It is like Waffle, I swear, I dont see how he stays alive on what he eats, but he is all normal and healthy, just strange.

Wanted to share this too. This is a picture of Duckie from 2 days before I got him, this is him in his viv that they had him in
he was 478 grams when I brought him home on 6/12/10

And here is Duckies new viv

and an upclose of Duckie from a few days ago, he is now 605 grams ( he was actually a little less than 605 here, as this pic is actually from about a month ago)

Duckie's before and after are quite different. Glad he found such a good "foster" home. You'll be happy to know that I got Duckie a beautiful new sister to keep him company when he gets here. (not that the other 9 couldn't have) I'll be posting an update on my thread as soon as I can get the computer.
