Hey i noticed my beardies tail was getting dark.. I wanted to get some peoples input on if it's tail rot.. I don't think he's malnourished, he gets plenty of dusted crickets a day.. and the UVB 10.0 light is unobstructed in the terrarium so he get's plenty of that too.. Thanks for the help!

Not tail rot. The tail can darken for a multitude of reasons. It's usually a temporary reaction to a stress such as being scared, cold, or sometimes even just from them being amped up from exploring.

I'd also like to add that for a lot of beardies, their tail gradually gets darker near the tip. If you look at pictures of other beardies, you'll see what I mean.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
