First and foremost yes I tried searching the forums and google “ bearded dragon green belly”. Now is this normal? They have fake green grass in the change and currently in shedding mode. They get feed fresh greens kale is the only one I can remember but I looked at a list and picked the top ones. They both eat hornworms (roughly 1-2 a day) an plenty of crickets. Rarely some papia

Is it the color on the belly you are concerned about ? Everything looks normal to me [ the arm is white from going in to shed ]

from the photo, looks like some kind of stain that may have rubbed off on belly...anything green in his environment that could have done? My boy developed a lovely (not) turquoise belly what he was on that color of sand (not my choice, but he was on it, when I adopted him) When I switched to a natural color substrate, his lovely red orange began to glow! can we get a view of him whole body, and also his viv? Is he otherwise healthy, good appetite? Alos, looks like he is shedding; sometimes unshed skin has an odd color...but not on average, green:) I cannot think of any green skin disease,so I am strongly thinking some environmental factor...his skin looks nice and healthy, overall.

Currently feeding daddies princess but yes I’ll get a picture on here of the whole setup in the morning (11:30 pm right now) but yes she has fake green grass in the viv? What’s this natural product you speak of? I’m interested to hear more please.

Just so you know if your thinking about switching to sand, you'll kill your dragons or at least put them in harms way. Sand is down right unnatural and its a shame people keep using it for beardies when they dont even live on it in the wild.

This is a few places in Alice Springs where bearded dragons are commonly found. As you see the environment they live in is mostly dirt, rock, minerals, clay, shrubs, trees ect. It may have a bit of sand in some parts but for the most part there barely is any at all.

Just so you know its not just impaction that is a risk, its prolapses, fungal infections, eye infections, scale rot, joint issues, and it also provides a bacteria breeding ground so no matter how much you clean the out poop and old food it'll always be dirty.

Personally I dont see anything wrong with his stomach but if there is green marks I'm guessing its probably because of the substrate.
Which if it is then I'd suggest paper towels, tile or non adhesive shelf liner.

Oh sand definitely not. I’ve done my fair share in reading, found some mistakes I’ve made, and learned a few lessons. Between 4 beardies I’ve probably spent 3 grand getting them nicely setup and the purchase of them. Yes the substrate they have now is green.

Grass is the same as there’s. They no longer live together as well. I seen the hand wave and head bobbing an told the wife times up go get another cage ASAP.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
