Hi guys,
I finally got an open, lightweight fluorescent light strip to put in Slim's tank so that he can get unobstructed UVB exposure (his ReptiSun was on top of the tank in a hood originally, obstructed by mesh). Yay! Only thing, though, is that I'm concerned about his eyes.
I know I've read that some bright white light in his basking spot will help protect his eyes. Is this bulb an example of that? It's the one I'm currently using... it doesn't look bright white like the fluorescent does, but rather, it has a kind of yellowish hue: http://www.entirelypets.com/exo-terra-intense-basking-spot-lamp-75-watts.html
Just want to make sure his eyes will be okay. Thanks!
