Is tap water okay?

I have chlorine and some random minerals in my water. (It turns things like the tub orange over time.) Is this water safe for my beardie or should I buy spring water?

If it's safe for humans to drink it's usually safe for reptiles.

as a person who has some pretty nasty tap water i'd recommend a filter of some kind (i use an under the sink restaurant grade one myself)

without the filter my water smells like pool water and taste like metal , with the filter it has no odor or taste and i give it to all my animals and have for years so if you can it is what i'd recommend as my filter last for a min of 6 months and cost like $40 to replace which isn't to bad for all the water i get out of it

This is true. Consider if you're area generally has decent tap water or not and decide from there. Filters are quite inexpensive these days.

I know the water treatment plant is quite good here. Tasty water! I phoned and they don't use chloramines either, just chlorine. Which means you can leave the water out for 24 hours-ish and the chlorine dissipates.

This is how I roll for all my pets personally. Well aside from fish, I do add dechlor for them, more for slime coat and any possible left over heavy metals ^^.
