Ok just to get this part out the way...
How old is your dragon? 5-6 months ish.
How long have you had your dragon?Had him since mid december
How long is your dragon? 14inches
What is the sex of your dragon? male
What size enclosure do you have your dragon in? 4Ft by 12inch by 18inch I think
What type substrate do you have on the bottom of your tank? newspaper
Do you use UVB lights? yes
If so, Is it a coil, compact, fluorescent tube, or Mercury Vapor bulb? Repti-Sun 10.0 36” tube
How old is your UVB bulb? Less than a month, changed it from repti-glo few weeks ago
How close can your dragon get to the UVB? 6inches
Do you use a separate basking bulb? What kind and what is the wattage? Exo-terra sun glo 75w
What are the basking temps? 105-110
What is the cool side temp? 85
Do you take the temps with a stick on thermometer, a digital thermometer with a wire and a probe end or a temp gun? Digital with wire and probe
Where exactly are you taking your basking temps? On the basking spot under the heat bulb
Do you use a heat rock or heat pad? no
What do you feed your dragon? Please be specific. Crickets, locust, wax worms sometimes. He has no interest in phoenix worms at all. Just ordered butterworms. Always has veggies – dandelion, squash, mustard greens ect.
How often do you feed and what time do you feed (morning, afternoon, night)? 3 times a day. Between 10-11am and again at around 2 and again at about 5
Do you gutload (feed) your crickets, worms, etc? yes
Do you use vitamin or calcium supplements? What brand(s)? How many days a week do you use each of them? Yes – zoo med reptivite with d3
Is your dragon having regular bowel movements (poops)? Once everyday sometimes twice
Do you bath your dragon? How often? Yes every other day
Do you mist your dragon or offer water other than in the bath? No but he gets water on his veggies
Does your dragon share an enclosure with another dragon? no
Have you gotten a vet check and fecal done? He has been to the vet but no fecal.
I'm really bad at these and I'll probably confuse everyone but try to bear with me.
I got jake (name been changed about 20 times) in mid december, from a local breeder.
When he was with gigi the other dragon, she bit him so he got rushed to the vet, x-rays and the lot were done and he was given antibiotics, (they also got separated and are in completely different houses now- jake at my house gigi at my boyfriends). He stopped eating completely for a few days but after his antibiotics he had a full appitite and was eating around 25 crickets per sitting. That was back when I had the Repti-Glo 10.0. I have been with this site for a little while now and have read just about every post I could find on lights and UVB and found that was not a good light, so I got the Repti-Sun 10.0 a few weeks ago.
The last few days he has been ignoring his crickets. He never really ate a whole load of them anyway but he just doesnt even look at them now. He has only been eating pieces of dandelion. Not interested in crickets really at all although he has gone for one which he missed, and when he misses he just completely gives up. I have no locusts because he started to go off of those before. Now I dont know if i'm overreacting because I feel so bad for not doing the right research at the start and giving him quite a bad start with me or if I need to take him back to the vets for a fecal or what?
I think he is tiny for his age and I'm really clueless to what else I could be doing wrong now. I think I have the right setup and have had it this way for a good few months now so it can't be stress. He is perfectly fine apart from not eating. He has his happy colours most of the day and is always wanting to get out and have a look around he basks and runs around. I gave him chicken and squash baby food 2 days ago but it just got pooped back out looking exactly how it did when it went in. When he was eating crickets/locust his poo looked fine – like a tiny wrapped sausage (good thing i'm veggie
or it may have put me off) and his urate was formed and white. He has baths every other day but doesnt seem to like them very much. He falls asleep on me every night too. If I need to take him to the vet or have a fecal done how am I going to get him to poo properly if he isnt eating anything to be able to poo back out?
Oh one more thing he was 24grams when he was being taken to the vet, he is now 111grams and getting heavier everyday. He has not lost but put weight on even the last few days he hasnt been eating.

This is driving me absolutely nuts! I'm online basically all day trying to figure whats wrong. Any adivce is greatly appreciated.
