Just wondering if this seems like Silver is getting ready to shed. The contrast between her back and legs/tail is getting more distinct by the day and very striking in the bath. I know she shed just on her head just before I got her in the beginning of January. Wondering if the oranges will pop out even more.

Nathan, that is a great pic, you'll have to keep it for the calendar pics in September, & Jeanne your Silver will be shedding soon. Nathan's right, they do go off their food when shedding but you'll see how fast it gets off once the shed is ready. Nathan, your Baby will be shedding before you know it & then the growth of both of your beardies will be steady. They're both so cute, I just love babies. My 4 boys are all adults now but they do still shed, but in bits & pieces. I envy both of you taking care of your babies :D :D

Haha thanks Deb, I may just do that!
Ohh but now you can reap your rewards with your big cuddly babies!

Silver, I can't wait to see if after they shed a couple times, they're still the same colour

That is a great picture! After your last update (55 grms 11inches) that I saw, I think Baby is Silver's big brother. Growing boy!

Haha, he's very handsome and he'll shed again so don't feel too bad! Just look at all the dark that came off on that

You should save it and put it in his baby book :p

I bet they feel great after getting that dead skin off. I have anoles who eat their dead skin but I guess beardies don't do that.

It happened so fast too.....No sign of peeling at all. I was only upstairs for an hour or so. When I came down and checked it was a done deal. There are minke whale bones I found on the beach and boiled and the travertine tiles probably made great scrapers too. Who knows how he did it. Here's the set up

I bought Silver here on Cape Cod at Cape Maid Farms. They have a great reptile section. I visited him quite a lot and held him each time before I got him. Right now he is 10 inches nose to tail and 54 grams. I'd love to see a pic of your little guy. How old is he? His name?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
